Job Description

About the Role

Mitie Telecoms is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Planning Director to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the efficient and effective operation of our Acquisition & Planning department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency;
  • Lead a team of planners and acquisition specialists to ensure the successful delivery of projects;
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify business opportunities and develop solutions to meet client needs;
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on planning and acquisition matters;
  • Manage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, colleagues, and external partners;
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices;
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators to ensure the department is meeting its objectives;
  • Identify and capitalize on business opportunities to drive growth and revenue;
  • Develop and maintain a culture of open communication and collaboration within the team;
  • Ensure the department is equipped with the necessary resources and support to deliver high-quality results.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior planning or acquisition role, preferably in the telecommunications industry;
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines;
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of the telecommunications industry;
  • Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to drive business growth;
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and accuracy;
