We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Ashlyn Care Home in Harlow, Essex. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional meal experiences for our residents, working closely with our Chef to prepare and cook nutritious, healthy meals using fresh ingredients.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with meal preparation, maintaining excellent standards of hygiene, and supporting at mealtimes with the dining experience. You will also be required to work in a fast-paced environment, respecting the choice and preferences of our residents.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience of cooking for large numbers, a passion for preparing and assisting with cooking of fresh, tasty, homemade food, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.

We offer a competitive salary of £12.00 per hour, 21 hours a week, with shifts between 9am - 5pm, Monday - Sunday. You will be required to work alternate weekends. In addition, we offer a range of benefits, including 28 days holiday, free on-site parking, and a comprehensive induction programme.
