Key Responsibilities- Preparation of Transport Assessments and Transport Statements
- Development and coordination of Travel Plans
- Preparation and presentation of technical data and drawings
- Liaison with clients, contractors, and local/national authorities as necessary
- Quality assurance of work produced by junior team members
- Support Team Leaders in delivering comprehensive advice on Highways & Transport matters, from initial feasibility studies to detailed project execution
- Conduct site appraisals and design surveys, contributing to written reports and presentations
- Maintain up-to-date electronic and paper files for all projects
- Expertise in Transport Planning, Geography, and Civil Engineering
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience with UK Transport Planning standards and processes
- Membership in the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation (MCIHT)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office software
- Familiarity with AutoCAD (desirable)
- Working knowledge of ARCADY, PICADY, and LINSIG
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex data findings effectively
- A solid understanding of commercial principles
