Derivatives Middle Office Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Derivatives Middle Office Analyst to join our dynamic team at Vantage Point Global. As a key member of our middle office team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our trade bookings, managing the full lifecycle of trades, and producing daily flash P&L reporting and P&L attribution.
Key Responsibilities:- Confirm the accuracy of trade bookings and manage the full lifecycle of trades
- Produce daily flash P&L reporting and P&L attribution
- Resolve booking issues and cash breaks
- Monitor and resolve internal trade and intersystem reconciliation breaks
- Work with support functions to provide operational support to the Front Office
- Contribute to business controls, risk monitoring, and process improvements
- Participate in global projects, including regulatory changes and system enhancements
- Training in both technical and soft skills to help you develop in your role from our dedicated in-house team
- Experience working at a top financial firm to enhance your career progression
- Ongoing formal and informal support and training as you develop and learn in your role

- Strong knowledge of rates derivative products
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
- Enthusiasm and commitment to grow in the field of middle office trade support
- Advanced Excel skills (desirable but not essential)
- Between 3 and 7 years experience in a middle office or trade support role
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- A keen eye for detail and accuracy in high-pressure environments
