Job Opportunity: SEND Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team at a well-equipped primary school in Coventry. The successful candidate will provide one-to-one support and work in small groups with students who have special educational needs and social, emotional, and mental health needs.

About the Role:
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN and SEMH needs
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans
  • Assist with the maintenance and updating of EHCPS (Education, Health and Care Plans)
  • Support students in small groups and whole-class settings
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to ensure a smooth and supportive learning environment
