About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Relief Cook to join our team at CrossReach. As a Relief Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious, visually appealing meals and snacks to our residents. This is a part-time position that requires maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety in the kitchen while ensuring meals meet individual dietary needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve meals and snacks to residents
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety in the kitchen
  • Ensure meals meet individual dietary needs
  • Manage kitchen efficiency and stock records
  • Order supplies and adhere to budgets
  • Promptly address any health and hygiene issues
Requirements
  • Relevant qualification such as City and Guilds
  • Previous catering experience
  • Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and internet use
  • Respect for Christian worship
  • Membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme
