Job Title: Medical Secretary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Secretary to join our team in Dublin South Central. As a Medical Secretary, you will provide administrative support to our medical teams, handling incoming calls, maintaining records, and performing various clerical tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle incoming calls and transfer to appropriate staff members
  • Support medical teams with daily administrative tasks, including database administration, query handling, and clerical tasks
  • Maintain records and filing systems, both manual and electronic
  • Assist in locating and compiling data for papers and reports
  • Compile reports, papers, proposals, letters, memos, or charts using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Provide general support to business managers as needed
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1-2 years' relevant experience in a similar administrative role, ideally in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent IT skills, including typing skills, Dictaphone experience, and MS Office Suite
  • Strong customer support experience with an excellent telephone manner
  • Experience handling correspondence and sensitive/confidential data
  • Excellent attention to detail with good analytical skills
