About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior.NET Developer to join our Supply Chain Application Development Team at Howdens Joinery.

As a Senior Developer, you will have the opportunity to provide expert technical skills to translate business requirements into enterprise solutions, ensuring exceptional levels of systems availability and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead development work on projects and BAU work, managing sprints and backlog when required.
  • Provide expert advice on programming methods, tools, and standards used in the organisation.
  • Support the use of ALM tools (Azure DevOps) and delivery pipelines.
  • Supervise external developers when working on project work.
  • Keep up to date with the latest technological innovations in the field and apply relevant innovations to our systems.
Requirements
  • At least 6 years of experience in C#.NET Development/Full-Stack Development, with a strong track record of delivering technical projects from inception to delivery.
  • Commercial experience using the MVC pattern, relational databases (SQL Server or Oracle), and front-end scripting (e.g. React, TypeScript, Angular JS).
  • Database design, programming (SQL), and query optimisation skills, as well as experience with ORM technologies (EF) and source control (TFS/GIT/Azure DevOps).
