We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join our team at QED Legal. As a Conveyancing Legal Secretary, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Residential Conveyancing department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of SDLT Returns and Land Registry documents.
  • Support on general leasehold and freehold matters, including drafting and reviewing documents.
  • Provide administrative support to the Residential Conveyancing team, including data entry and filing.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of private client terminology and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders via phone and email.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Conveyancing Legal Secretary or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLT Returns and Land Registry procedures.
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
