Key Responsibilities

The primary focus of this position is to oversee the maintenance and inspection of all electrical systems across various facilities managed by Doncaster Council. Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety Regulations.
  • Effectively communicating with stakeholders to address maintenance needs.
  • Diagnosing electrical issues and implementing effective solutions.
  • Completing necessary documentation and reports related to maintenance activities.
  • Participating in project work aligned with the strategic maintenance plan.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience as an electrician.
  • Experience in a similar role within an educational or community-focused setting is preferred.
  • Current knowledge of IET BS7671 Wiring Regulations.
  • Relevant qualifications, including City & Guilds (or equivalent) and a willingness to pursue further certifications in electrical installation verification and testing.
