About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Passive Fire Protection Site Specialist to join our team at fish4.co - Jobboard. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing sites in the North West and Midlands region, ensuring compliance with specifications and installation requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Inspect sites to ensure compliance with specifications and installation requirements, including taking measurements, photographs, and data capture, followed by detailed site reports.
  2. Liaise with various stakeholders, including contractors, designers, building control, fire engineers, and end clients.
  3. Provide toolbox talks to demonstrate installation methods for passive fire protection on live projects, particularly within external wall cladding systems.
  4. Assist the commercial team (sales/specification) by providing informed advice on products.
  5. Valid driver's license, willing to travel as required for the role.
  6. Technically proficient with commercial awareness.
  7. Proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  8. Experience overseeing fire protection projects across various sectors, with a comprehensive understanding of different construction methods.
  9. In-depth technical knowledge of passive fire products, including cavity barriers and intumescent materials.

Requirements:

  1. Solid working knowledge of Approved Document B (Fire Safety).
  2. A valid SMSTS.
  3. CSCS Gold or Black Card.
  4. IFE Level 2 or 3 in Passive Fire Protection.
  5. Full driving License.
