About the Role

The British Council is a UK-based charity that promotes cultural exchange and education worldwide. As a Trustee, you will play a key role in shaping our strategic direction and ensuring our continued success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic guidance and oversight to the Board
  • Contribute to the development of our business strategy and plans
  • Support the Chief Executive in leading the organisation
  • Represent the British Council at external events and meetings

Requirements

  • Substantive experience in finance, commercial, or arts and culture
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
