Position Overview:
This role presents an excellent opportunity to become a vital member of our Production team, engaged in the assembly line of innovative, high-tech products. As a key contributor, you will utilize your skills in preparing and finalizing systems in Pre-pack before they undergo quality assessment for OIPT products. Collaborating closely with your colleagues, you will ensure that all products adhere to established schedules and meet exceptional quality standards, ready for dispatch to clients.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare and finalize systems in Pre-pack prior to quality assessment completion.
- Coordinate with the Testing team during incoming quality inspections.
- Assist in the installation and decommissioning of systems as instructed.
- Construct systems, sub-assemblies, and components to meet build schedules while adhering to ISO procedures under supervision.
- During the training phase, develop the technical competencies necessary for advancement to a Grade 3 position.
- Strive for continuous improvement in skill levels by enhancing key competencies as outlined in the Departmental Skills Matrix and OI Quality standards.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping and 5S practices.
- Work on a rotating shift schedule as directed by your Team Leader.
- Perform additional duties within the manufacturing department as requested by management to support production goals.
- Contribute to the overall performance of the Production Team through ongoing improvements.
Educational Background:
- ONC or equivalent professional qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
Professional Skills and Abilities:
- Precision fitting skills.
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and focused worker.
- Productive and goal-oriented.
