Job Summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are seeking a skilled Fabric Technician to join our team, covering sites across Scotland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to reactive works within the team, ensuring maintenance tasks are completed within agreed timescales.
  • Liaise with clients' representatives regarding maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Undertake site surveys and produce Works Requests, Method Statements, and Risk Assessments for planned works.
  • Repair floor and wall coverings, ceiling tile repairs and replacements, and other building and installation works as required.
  • Accountable for lighting, general lamp changes, filter changes, AHU's/FCU's, and basic plumbing requirements.
  • Utilize a PDA to complete works, key communications, and updates.
  • Complete reactive, PPM jobs, and projects in a timely manner.
  • Undertake minor projects works, ensuring all works are carried out safely and in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Regulations.
Requirements
  • Previous fabric and carpentry experience.
  • Experience of working in high-profile work environments.
  • City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent in carpentry.
  • Current UKL driver's license.
  • PC literate.
  • Good customer relationship skills.
  • Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings/instructions/processes.
  • Able to organize self to manage assigned tasks, determine material requirements.
  • Experience of H&S procedures and requirements, including COSHH, Working at Heights, Risk Assessment, etc.
  • Health & Safety Qualified, i.e., IOSH and/or NEBOSH.
  • Willingness to work over and above contractual hours.
