Position Summary
We are looking for a skilled Site Technical Manager to oversee the technical operations at our facility. This role is crucial in ensuring seamless collaboration between production, engineering, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to all food safety regulations and legal standards, establishing a comprehensive system for traceability and due diligence.
- Lead and manage the site Technical Team, promoting the sharing and implementation of best practices.
- Oversee the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process.
- Encourage and develop best practices within the organization.
- Lead the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) team.
- Manage the site's Food Safety Quality Management System (FSQMS).
- Maintain top-tier accreditation with BRCGS and other customer and third-party standards.
- Analyze and trend data to drive business objectives effectively.
- Engage actively in the New Product Development (NPD) process from concept through to launch.
- Promote a proactive approach to health and safety on-site.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in managing a technical team within a food manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with BRCGS and retailer audit processes.
- HACCP Level 3 certification or higher.
- Food Safety Level 3 certification or higher.
- A degree in Food Science or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Work Schedule and Compensation:
This position offers a standard workweek of 37.5 hours, Monday through Friday, with a competitive salary and performance-based bonus structure.
