About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Pension Projects Team Manager. As a key member of our administration projects team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality projects that meet the objectives of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Plan, lead, and prioritize the delivery of a portfolio of pension projects to meet the objectives of the portfolio and the project objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Support the head of projects to manage each project end-to-end, and act as a point of accountability for the successful delivery of projects within the portfolio.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical oversight for complex pension requirements, and support the day-to-day activities of the team.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, and ensure that all projects adhere to quality assurance processes and meet quality assurance requirements.
  • Risk Management: Identify and manage project delivery risks, and provide problem-solving solutions to remove barriers or blockers to successful delivery.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Experience in a leadership or management role in the pension industry, with knowledge of both defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes.
  • Project Management: Previous experience in managing portfolios of projects or in managing a team of DB pension administrators.
  • Technical Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of pension and actuarial calculation, and/or data projects, with strong technical pensions and legislative knowledge and understanding.
