We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Technician to join our team at ERIKS. As an Electromechanical Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs to industrial equipment, including AC and DC motors, motorized gearboxes, pumps, and fan units.
Key Responsibilities- Perform repairs and maintenance on industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
- Conduct fault finding and diagnostic tests to identify and rectify defects and worn/damaged components
- Have a basic electrical testing capability to assess the electrical condition of AC and DC components
- Have sound mechanical engineering knowledge to identify and rectify faulty and worn/damaged components, and understand reclamation techniques and reverse engineering options
- Pump experience, including hot oil and water, as well as basic hydraulic knowledge
- You will be flexible and able to work the hours required in a demanding and busy 24/7 service-oriented environment
- Participate in a call-out rota as required
- You will be used to working on site in addition to the workshop when required (site working experience is a distinct advantage and suitable qualifications such as CCNSG passport are preferable)
- Health and safety will be at the forefront of everything you do
- You will be happy working with a team as well as working on your own initiative
