About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated NPD Executive to join our team at Skin Rocks. As a key member of our NPD team, you will play a crucial role in driving the development of our premium skincare products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the development of new products from concept creation to production, working closely with our Head of Product.
  • Compile formulation briefs and development timelines, ensuring timely product delivery.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers, including packaging and manufacturing partners.
  • Coordinate development sampling, including formula testing panels and clinical samples, and participate in submission reviews with the Head of Product.
  • Monitor development testing with labs and manufacturers, ensuring reports are received and reviewed in a timely manner.
  • Source packaging and manage COGs and MOQs for NPD products.
  • Work with the Head of Product to manage COGs and liaise with suppliers as needed.
  • Update and oversee NPD development trackers as part of development project management.
  • Organize internal testing panels for new developments, including sample distribution, monitoring, and presenting responses to inform NPD.
  • Lead NPD communication with the Design Team to facilitate packaging design and artwork completion, including reviewing artwork and managing submissions with relevant third parties.
  • Provide administrative support to the Regulatory Compliance Officer as needed, including updating product PIFs.
  • Support product claims testing by liaising with manufacturers to ensure sample requirements are met, labelled, and distributed according to the CPA.
  • Attend weekly NPD meetings and monitor resulting actions to ensure CPA is on track.
  • Compile market data for new product scoping to inform new project developments.
  • Work with the Regulatory Compliance Officer to create and update artwork content trackers with required information.
Requirements
  • Minimum of two to three years' experience in NPD within the personal care industry.
  • Strong understanding of the development life cycle.
  • Previous experience in the premium skincare market is preferred.
  • Proactive and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good market knowledge with a passion for skincare.
  • Excellent organizational skills, managing multiple tasks at any given time.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills for liaising with internal and external teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
