About the Role

Mencap is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Relief Support Workers in Tewkesbury. As a Relief Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily activities and provide emotional support to individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Work with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.
  • Develop meaningful relationships with individuals and their families.
Requirements
  • A genuine passion for supporting others.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
Contract Options
  • Relief - flexible hours based on availability.
Shift Times

All our services are 24hr care. Shift times include:

  • Days: Between 07:00-10:00
  • Sleep-ins: 10:00-07:00
