Versatile Operations Specialist

Location: Peacehaven

Salary: £27,000 per annum

Working Hours: 08:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday

Role Overview:

The role involves supporting various trades within our Building & Civils team to ensure the smooth operation of the site. Flexibility is essential, as the position requires undertaking diverse tasks to deliver a safe and high-quality service. Training will be provided to equip you for all site responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the New Works team with all Buildings and Civils projects.
  • Implement policies and standards to maintain operational excellence and high-quality service delivery.
  • Support management in executing ongoing planned New Works to uphold service standards.
  • Respond promptly to urgent issues arising from existing contracts.
  • Conduct daily operations in accordance with company-defined standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and legislative requirements.
  • Be prepared to undertake specific training for work in controlled areas.
  • Adapt to changes in company policies and local work instructions.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as directed by management.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for completing tasks effectively and efficiently. They should be eager, enthusiastic, and willing to learn from supervisors, with aspirations for career advancement in the Buildings and Civils sector.

  • Knowledge of Facility Management is beneficial.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging with clients and colleagues at all levels.
  • Commitment to personal development and contract improvement.
  • Ability to establish and maintain high standards in quality, safety, and operational performance.
  • Self-motivated, a team player, and resilient under pressure.
  • Flexible in approach and able to work independently.
  • Must meet security clearance requirements.
