Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement health and safety plans, data capture, and ongoing analysis to identify and mitigate risks.
- Oversee and enforce all health and safety policies within the company to ensure compliance with current legislation and industry standards.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement preventative measures to minimize hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
- Review and update existing policies and measures to ensure they remain effective and compliant with changing legislation.
- Design and deliver OHS training programs for employees and executives to promote a culture of safety and well-being.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues or non-conformities and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and present reports on incidents and provide statistical information to senior management to inform decision-making.
- Proven experience as a Health and Safety Manager with a strong track record of reducing risks and promoting a culture of safety.
- Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with employees, executives, and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate risks.
- Valid qualification in occupational health and safety and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
