The Opportunity
We're expanding our team in the South West and have a new opportunity for two Multi-Skilled Tradespersons to join our Empty Homes & Repairs Team. This is a full-time, permanent vacancy, working 39 hours per week.
What We're Looking For
We are a customer-focused organization, and we believe that how we do things is just as important as what we do. You will be more than just a skilled tradesperson; you'll also have excellent customer service skills and a dedication to providing a high-quality service in compliance with relevant procedures and legislation.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven competence in joinery and carpentry.
- A range of multi-trade skills and experience, enabling you to complete repairs efficiently on the first visit (first-time fix).
- Experience working in a customer-oriented environment.
- Ability to work methodically, follow established procedures, and accurately record information.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, allowing you to work independently.
- Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions while seeking guidance when needed.
- Physical capability to carry out tasks and lift weights in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
- Commitment to safe working practices, considering environmental circumstances and potential risks.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience within the social housing sector.
Essential Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 (City & Guilds) Trade Qualification or equivalent recognized competency in joinery and carpentry.
