IT Project Manager – Cornwallis Elt – Permanent Role

Hybrid working model – 3 days in the office.

The IT Project Manager will be tasked with the comprehensive oversight of the planning, execution, and successful delivery of various IT initiatives within the organization, which encompass both infrastructure and software development projects. This position requires the aggregation of all current and proposed IT projects, assessing and prioritizing them based on their business significance and alignment with strategic goals, followed by managing these projects throughout their entire lifecycle with effective communication at both Group and local levels as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee projects in line with established governance frameworks, employing structured and suitable project management methodologies.
  • Generate and uphold all necessary project documentation to meet quality standards, including initiation and closure documents, project plans, reports, RAID logs, and resource estimates.
  • Facilitate and conduct effective project steering meetings and cross-functional discussions, which may involve external participants.
  • Foster and maintain robust relationships with sponsors and stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Identify, lead, organize, and mentor business project resources to guarantee successful project outcomes.
  • Communicate project progress clearly and regularly to all relevant stakeholders in accordance with established governance protocols.
  • Experience collaborating with Heads of Functions and Senior Management, including C-suite executives.
  • Proven track record of working with both Business and IT divisions.
  • Ability to lead, manage, and deliver complex insurance M&A integration projects and/or internal business transformation initiatives covering IT, Data, Process Improvement, and Regulatory Compliance.
  • Focused on project delivery with exceptional organizational capabilities.
  • Proactive in recognizing and implementing innovative solutions.
  • Experience in managing projects in collaboration with external partners.
