Role Summary:
Orion Electrotech is in search of a proficient Maintenance Technician with a focus on electrical systems to guarantee the effective functioning of machinery and mechanical apparatus.
As a vital member of our maintenance crew, your duties will encompass executing scheduled preventative maintenance (PPM) on designated plant machinery, diagnosing issues, and compiling a list of necessary replacement components when immediate resolutions are unfeasible.
Key Duties of the Maintenance Technician:
• Ensure optimal performance of machinery and mechanical systems by conducting preventive maintenance in accordance with organizational protocols, utilizing diagrams, sketches, operational manuals, and engineering specifications.
• Identify and resolve machinery malfunctions by monitoring operations, listening for irregularities, and employing precision measuring and testing tools.
• Maintain the integrity of the building structure and assess services (Water, Electric, Air) in compliance with company standards.
• Respond swiftly to production disruptions, keeping relevant team members updated on machine conditions.
• Collaborate with other departments to fulfill production objectives.
Qualifications of the Maintenance Technician:
• Possession of any electrical certification.
Skills and Competencies of the Maintenance Technician:
• Prior experience in diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults.
• Demonstrated background in a manufacturing setting.
• Previous positions held as a Maintenance Technician or Engineer.
• Solid understanding of PLC systems.
• Organized, self-driven, and safety-oriented regarding electrical, compressed air, and pressurized systems.
