Siemen Gamesa is a leading player in the renewable energy sector, and we're looking for a talented Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator to join our Onshore Service team in Glasgow, Kilmarnock, and Moffat.

As a Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for the efficient management of stocks, ensuring timely delivery targets are met, and customer requirements are fulfilled. You will work closely with our team to enhance our service to customers, communicating effectively at all levels.

Some of your key tasks will include:

  • Order, receive, pick, pack, issue, and dispatch inventory while maintaining accurate records
  • Accept incoming goods, compare them with shipping documents, and document any damage
  • Use transport equipment safely and efficiently
  • Capture relevant data in data processing systems
  • Arrange the acceptance, storage, commissioning, and removal of goods in the storage area
  • Organize regular stock maintenance and inventory in the storage area
  • Complete packaging of deliveries according to shipping instructions
  • Complete transports inside and outside the premises using professional means of transportation
  • Maintain a safe, clear, and clean environment, adhering to procedures and equipment maintenance
  • Support operational requirements while maintaining procedural integrity
  • Support home location or others upon request with flexible working arrangements

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a self-motivated individual with a passion for renewable energy and a sense of the importance of leading the change. You should have:

  • Material handling experience is preferred
  • Prior working experience in a warehouse environment, preferably in the wind industry, but applicants from other industries are welcome
  • Technical knowledge would be an advantage
  • Able to work under tight deadlines
  • SAP experience would be preferred, but full training will be provided
  • A full UK driving license is required
