About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at one of our client's HQs in the Epsom area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance on building services equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Perform reactive and emergency breakdown tasks as allocated, prioritizing tasks to minimize downtime and disruption.
  • Conduct regular inspections, fault finding, and diagnosis to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with agreed service levels, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Utilize electronic job sheets on a Tablet or Smartphone to record and track maintenance activities.
  • Maintain accurate site-based records and log books to facilitate effective maintenance planning and decision-making.
  • Perform general cleaning and housekeeping to maximize the life expectancy of all equipment.
  • Proactively work to reduce energy consumption on client sites, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing cost-saving measures.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, compliance, and local policies and procedures, promoting a safe working environment.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with customers through face-to-face, telephone, and email communication.

Working Hours

The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, with a 1 in 2 call-out rota, which includes an additional payment.

Requirements

  • City & Guilds Mechanical or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience maintaining fan coil units and AHU's in a commercial environment.
