We are also a leading specialist Electric Vehicle (EV) charging solutions provider, managing the end-to-end installation and ongoing routine safety examinations.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Commercial Electrical Test Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our electrical division, you will carry out electrical testing within the social housing industry in the South of England. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing high-quality electrical testing
  • Working to BS7671 standards to ensure implementation and compliance of policies and procedures
  • Carrying out electrical condition reporting, inspection, and testing to the highest standards
  • Understanding the importance of Health and Safety and following procedure
  • Attending monthly training sessions
  • Accurately recording electrical documentation using our CRM system and reporting software
  • Liaising with our customers and members of our supply chain

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate a positive, diverse, and inclusive attitude to both internal and external customers and colleagues. You will also need to have a flexible approach to working and be willing to work overtime to cover workloads during busy periods. Additionally, you will need to have:

  • NVQ Level 3 Qualification in electrical installation work C&G 2330, 2360, 2357, 2365
  • City & Guilds Inspection and Testing or equivalent
  • Good level of computer literacy
  • Full driving licence held for 12 months (Minimum)
  • 18th edition ideally - however, 18th edition and asbestos awareness courses can be offered at our in-house training centre.
