We are seeking an experienced Senior Trading Underwriter to join our team at Aviva. As a Senior Trading Underwriter, you will be responsible for mentoring and coaching less experienced colleagues in writing and winning more complex, higher value business, while maintaining a multiclass underwriter approach when dealing end-to-end with brokers/customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expert Knowledge: You will have expert knowledge of insurance and commercial underwriting, with experience of property & liability being essential.
- Risk Analysis: You will be able to analyze risks and communicate and present effectively to brokers and/or customers.
- Process Improvement: You will be familiar with applying underwriting knowledge to effectively improve processes/procedures, while being responsible for your own underwriting caseloads within a regulatory environment.
