We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team, specializing in working with individuals who have complex and multifaceted needs. You will play a vital role in empowering service users to achieve their goals and enhance their well-being through evidence-based interventions and tailored support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the unique challenges and strengths of each service user.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address a wide range of occupational needs, including daily living skills, cognitive function, sensory processing, and social participation.
  • Provide direct therapy sessions, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques to promote functional independence and enhance quality of life.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure holistic care.
  • Advocate for service users' rights and needs within the healthcare system.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Registered Occupational Therapist with a valid license to practice in the UK.
  • Proven experience working with individuals who have complex and diverse needs, including mental health conditions, physical disabilities, and cognitive impairments.
  • Strong clinical reasoning skills and the ability to adapt treatment plans based on individual progress and changing circumstances.
