Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Optometrist to join our team at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust. As an Optometrist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality eye care services to our patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Undertake slit lamp bio microscopy and Volk lens examinations to diagnose and manage eye conditions.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans to improve patient outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Contribute to the planning and development of the Optometry service, ensuring it meets the changing needs of the department.

Person Specification
  • Qualified Optometrist registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
