About the Position
We are in search of a seasoned AWS AI/ML Solutions Architect to become a vital part of our AWS services division and contribute to our global expansion efforts.
In this pivotal role, you will utilize AWS AI/ML services to architect and execute machine learning solutions tailored to intricate business challenges.
Your responsibilities will involve close collaboration with local AWS sales and technical teams, as well as the Regional Service Centre. This includes creating white papers, blogs, and presentations to advocate for AWS AI/ML best practices while providing mentorship to our technical staff.
This position demands practical expertise in machine learning and a strategic mindset to align technological advancements with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities as an AWS AI/ML Solutions Architect
Project Execution:
- Partner with client AI teams to comprehend business and technical requirements, leveraging the AWS Cloud platform and AI/ML services.
- Conduct consultancy projects, analyzing needs, gathering data, and proposing effective solutions.
- Oversee assessment, design, and implementation stages with an emphasis on quality and risk management.
- Document project details and ensure seamless transition to support teams.
- Provide technical assistance both internally and externally, including leading client workshops.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance AI architectures on AWS.
- Develop and deploy machine learning models that align with business needs and industry best practices.
Pre-Sales, Scoping, and Service Development:
- Lead or assist in scoping discussions and workshops, preparing Statements of Work.
- Educate partners and clients on AWS value propositions and engage in architectural discussions.
- Identify additional service and sales opportunities within Ingram Micro.
- Promote AWS Services through blogs, whitepapers, and public speaking engagements.
- Support regional AWS service development and market entry strategies.
- Collaborate with Ingram Micro thought leaders to drive growth opportunities and validate designs.
- Create proof of concepts (POCs) to demonstrate AI solution capabilities.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Proven experience in a technical consulting and business analysis role.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (English).
- AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty certification.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Python, R, or other programming languages, including independently developing prototype applications.
- Familiarity with deep learning and neural networks.
- Ability to technically oversee team members on large-scale projects.
- Demonstrated ability to apply knowledge and skills to tackle complex problems beyond one's immediate area of expertise.
- Willingness and ability to travel as required.
