Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and requirements to create comprehensive cost estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and suppliers to gather vital information for accurate estimations.
- Identify and quantify all necessary materials, labor, and equipment required for projects.
- Review and assess subcontractor quotes and engage in pricing negotiations.
- Monitor and track project expenditures to ensure compliance with budgetary and financial objectives.
- Assist in value engineering initiatives to optimize project costs while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office applications is essential. A degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline is preferred.
