We are seeking an upbeat and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Postperson with Driving. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to our customers across Northampton.

About the Role

This is a permanent contract position, working 30 hours per week, 5 days a week, with a mix of weekdays and weekends. You will be required to work a rota basis, including Saturdays and Sundays, with some Sunday working at our Northampton Crow Lane Delivery Office.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary, paid monthly, with an hourly rate of £12.54. You will also receive 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service, and a company pension scheme with competitive contribution rates. In addition, you will have access to our trainee manager roles and Apprentice Schemes, as well as excellent family-friendly support, including enhanced maternity pay and paternity leave.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be:

  • Upbeat, independent, and self-motivated
  • Organised, punctual, and ready to deliver great customer service
  • A people-person and a friendly face in the community
  • Happy walking for long periods and working outside in any weather
  • Have a strong sense of community and take pride in what you do
  • Have a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
