Lead Advanced Clinical Practitioner/Advanced Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) or Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join our clinical team in a primary care setting in Barking. This is a permanent position, working closely with the GP team and assisting with the management of nurses within the practice.

The successful candidate will be employed by the practice on a full-time basis, with a competitive salary and benefits package. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities
  1. Working closely with the GP team to provide clinical and non-clinical decision-making support
  2. Mentoring and managing other clinicians in the practice
  3. Providing 15-minute consultations and on-the-day presentations
  4. Assessing, diagnosing, and referring patients to other clinicians or services
  5. Managing minor injuries and minor illnesses
  6. Prescribing medications and advising patients on medication use
Package and Benefits

Competitive salary: £56,000 - £62,000 (outer London higher cost supplement) depending on experience

Requirements
  1. ANP or ACP registration with the UK NMC/HCPC
  2. MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice
  3. Experience working in a primary care setting
  4. Certified in Minor Injuries and Minor Illnesses
  5. Experience managing or leading a team is ideal
