About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team at ABMI, a leading engineering consulting firm. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and detailing industrial steel structures, working closely with our CAD designers and building layout teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with building layout and piping teams to coordinate design
  • Work with CAD designers to prepare design drawings and models
  • Manage engineering changes in line with company procedures
  • Receive, analyze, and verify input data for consistency
  • Coordinate CAD design activities
  • Perform design activities for fastenings and anchorages in concrete
  • Perform technical verifications of civil engineering documents
  • Create and maintain the Design Risk Register
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in civil engineering
  • Steelwork engineering design office experience, particularly in the design and detailing of industrial steel structures
  • Experience in the nuclear sector is advantageous
  • Previous experience with Eurocodes related to steelwork engineering
