About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Ridgewood Court Residential Care Home. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive high-quality food and excellent service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present meals to a high standard, adhering to relevant food hygiene legislation
  • Serve meals to our residents in a friendly and efficient manner
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of respect and dignity for all residents
Requirements
  • Previous catering experience is desirable, but not essential
  • A food hygiene certificate is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential
  • A caring and enthusiastic approach, with a genuine interest in supporting older people
