Information Security Governance Specialist

Barclay Simpson is seeking an experienced Information Security Governance, Risk and Compliance professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing our IT GRC Framework, ensuring the effective management of IT risks and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the IT GRC Framework, encompassing IT risk management, compliance, and governance.
- Support the IT risk management process, including technical IT risk assessments and documentation.
- Assist with reviewing and documenting IT risks associated with IT exceptions.
- Support risk owners in defining remediation plans and tracking remediation activities.
- Assess compliance with IT control requirements defined in policies and standards.
Requirements:
- 3-5+ years of experience in Information Security Governance, Risk and Compliance.
- Knowledge of information security risk management frameworks and compliance practices.
- Knowledge and familiarity with the DORA regulation is desirable.
- Exposure to and understanding of IT infrastructure and business applications areas.
- Experience of working with internal and external audit teams.
- Proven ability in working across multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural environments.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills at all levels.
- Strong presentation skills (written and verbal).
- Industry-recognised technical certifications such as ITIL, CISSP or similar would be desirable, but not essential.
- Fluency in French would be desirable, but not essential.
