Special Education Needs Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Needs (SEN) teacher to join our team at Danecourt School in Medway. As a SEN teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement tailored learning plans that cater to the unique needs and abilities of each student.
  • Foster a positive and nurturing classroom environment that promotes growth, self-confidence, and emotional well-being.
  • Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible support for each student.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and methodologies in SEN education through continuous professional development.
Requirements:
  • A strong background in special education and experience working with students with a variety of special educational needs.
  • Passion for creating inclusive and diverse learning experiences.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals.

Danecourt School is a specialist school for children aged 4-11 years with severe and complex needs. We pride ourselves on creating personalized learning opportunities that enable each student to reach their full potential. Our school offers a curriculum split into three tracks that cater to the unique needs of each student, with small class sizes and favorable staffing levels.
