About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Gas Engineer to join our team at British Gas Service & Repairs. As a key member of our service and repair team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of gas appliances and central heating systems for our domestic customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service and repair gas appliances and central heating systems to the highest standards
  • Work with customers to identify and resolve issues with their gas appliances and central heating systems
  • Conduct thorough safety checks and inspections to ensure compliance with industry regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers to resolve issues
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve service and repair targets
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in servicing, fault diagnosis, and repairs on different boilers and central heating systems
  • Electrical knowledge, including wiring and fault finding on S-plan, Y-plan, and combination systems and boilers
  • Current ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 & HTR1) NVQ, C&G or equivalent in plumbing or heating
  • A full UK driving licence with 6 points or less
