Geotechnical Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Consultant to join our dynamic team at Intertek. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of subsea cable and offshore renewables projects.
Key Responsibilities- Review geotechnical investigation results, including seabed mapping, soil sampling, and testing, using various methods and techniques.
- Interpret soil data and provide recommendations for cable trenching and offshore construction.
- Conduct geohazard assessments and develop risk management plans for offshore structures.
- Prepare technical reports and deliver presentations to clients.
- Provide technical expertise and support to other members of the team.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in marine geotechnical engineering, including experience in conducting geotechnical investigations, soil sampling and testing, and interpretation of soil data. You should also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including report writing, and familiarity with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements for offshore projects.
