Join Our Team as a Fund Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Fund Accountant to join our team at Hays PLC. As a Fund Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering a first-class professional service to our clients.

About the Role

As a Fund Accountant, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting services, including year-end and audits. You will work closely with our jurisdictions accounting teams to ensure all regulatory and statutory reporting deadlines and filings are achieved.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day accounting services, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Assist with year-end and audits, ensuring all regulatory and statutory reporting deadlines and filings are achieved
  • Work closely with our jurisdictions accounting teams to deliver a first-class professional service to clients
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with strong IFRS knowledge and technical accounting skills. Ideally, you will have gained experience within real estate funds or an asset management environment.

You will also need to have a comprehensive understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS, as well as other relevant accounting standards. Additionally, you will need to be able to prepare statutory financial statements and liaise with auditors.
