About the Role:

Accelerate Teaching is seeking a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to provide support to a child in Key Stage 2 (KS2) at a primary school. This full-time role offers a unique chance to make a significant impact on a young learner's life while gaining valuable experience in the field of special education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to a child with special educational needs, assisting them in accessing the curriculum and reaching their full potential.
  • Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive behavior and minimize disruptions.
  • Work alongside teachers and support staff to develop and execute Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs) and behavior intervention strategies.
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and empowered to succeed.
