What You'll Be Doing

The main purpose of this role is to develop and maintain an effective IT Database function that supports the needs of the organization's activities. Provide effective access to corporate data and maintain the security and integrity of the data items and their control environment.

Deliver guidance, support, and system solutions to enable continued operation and growth of the business. Be able to action all aspects of the IT business continuity plans as and when required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for installation, upgrading, monitoring, and tuning of database software (SQL Server).
  • Controlling Backups and Recovery of Databases and associated software.
  • Monitoring the integrity and security of corporate databases, escalating/reporting any issues or security breaches as appropriate.
  • Implement and monitor the organization's access control policy in line with legal and company requirements.
  • Advise on the selection/acquisition of Database Software, establish and manage database standards, providing advice, guidance, and support as required.
What We're Looking For

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of database design, optimization, and administration.

  • Experience in Microsoft environments.
  • Database design and optimization.
  • MS Azure Experience.
  • SQL Server database operating experience.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work activities.
  • Manage, configure, and optimize Database environment.
  • Microsoft certification or equivalent in Database administration.
