About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead our 6-bedded care home in Bricket Wood. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support to our service users, while maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a small team of staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and staff well-being.
- Ensure the delivery of safe and effective care and support, adhering to regulatory and legislative requirements.
- Develop and implement effective support plans for service users, in collaboration with their families and healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care and support, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and other relevant legislation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including families, healthcare professionals, and local authorities.
- Lead on marketing and recruitment initiatives to attract new referrals and enquires.
- Ensure the home is operating in accordance with its statement of purpose and that all operational documents are up to date.
Requirements:
- Registered Manager qualification and experience in a care home setting.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with service users, families, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
- Knowledge of CQC regulations and other relevant legislation.
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
