Job Overview:

Torque Consulting is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in managing and executing projects from initial design through to installation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from design through to installation, ensuring timely and successful completion.
  • Conduct site surveys and measurements to produce accurate technical drawings and plans for client approval.
  • Utilize AutoCAD software to produce 2D and isometric manufacturing drawings, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications.
  • Draft and prepare layout drawings for structures, components, and devices within the commercial kitchen ventilation systems.
  • Prepare detailed drawings for sheet metal components, including calculations for dimensions and allowances.
  • Compile data and create specification sheets to guide the manufacturing process.
  • Ensure that all designs and installations comply with safety procedures and construction standards.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office packages (Outlook, Word, Excel) for project management and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project management, particularly in the engineering or manufacturing sectors.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and the ability to produce both 2D and isometric drawings.
  • Experience in creating technical drawings for sheet metal components and other structural elements.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required, with flexibility for overnight stays (covered by the company).

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, with flexibility based on project requirements.
  • Overnight hotel stays may be required due to project travel, with costs covered by the company.
