About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Officer to join our team at the Nursing and Midwifery Council. As a key member of our Change and Continuous Improvement Function, you will play a crucial role in identifying risks and data-driven opportunities for improvement through quality assurance reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on and manage quality assurance reviews to identify data-driven corporate opportunities trends and learning
  • Test the effectiveness of performance and quality management arrangements in place within directorates
  • Identify best practice, opportunities for improvement, and recommend solutions to address them

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical, report writing, or drafting skills and experience of presenting findings to a variety of audiences
  • Experience of identifying risk and working in either a quality assurance or quality/performance improvement environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation skills
  • Delivering work to tight deadlines

The Nursing and Midwifery Council is responsible for regulating nurses, midwives, and nursing associates in the UK. Our core role is to promote high education and professional standards, maintain the register of professionals eligible to practise, and investigate concerns about nurses, midwives, and nursing associates.
