Job Summary

Zoetis is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Viral Manufacturing Team Lead to join our ABI Process Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing operations team, managing day-to-day operations, and driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 13-20 direct reports, providing coaching, guidance, and development opportunities to ensure high performance and engagement.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the viral manufacturing process, ensuring safe, smooth, and efficient production.
  • Investigate process excursions and deviations, utilizing six sigma tools to identify and implement corrective actions.
  • Design and implement reporting standards for operational metrics and process KPIs to drive operation efficiencies and employee experiences.
  • Work cross-functionally with multiple teams to ensure high-quality viral antigens and provide support to team members to achieve their goals.
  • Assist with technical projects and coordinate the introduction of new production processes, maintaining state-of-the-art competence on technological developments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as biological sciences or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in biological manufacturing and/or aseptic manufacturing.
  • Ability to teach and learn new concepts daily.

Physical Position Requirements

Exposure to chemicals, fumes, odors, noise, live steam, temperature fluctuations, and biohazards. Prolonged sitting, continuous standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
