Ideal Candidate Profile:
The successful applicant will possess recent experience in the financial services sector, particularly within a custodian or asset management context, and have a solid understanding of MIFID II, encompassing product and marketing procedures.
Job Overview:
This position entails full-time engagement with the flexibility of hybrid working, allowing for two days of remote work per week.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Client Onboarding Project Specialist, you will be tasked with the comprehensive coordination of client projects, ensuring seamless execution by mobilizing internal teams and collaborating closely with clients. This role demands a proactive individual capable of managing multiple projects while fostering strong client relationships and delivering results within defined quality, cost, and time parameters.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Forming and leading dedicated project teams, organizing inter-departmental meetings to assess the feasibility of client requests.
- Adjusting project teams as necessary and ensuring that the statement of requirements aligns with the initial client request.
- Preparing project descriptions with associated costs, submitting them for approval, and securing client validation at significant milestones.
- Coordinating project reporting both internally and with clients, utilizing established formats.
- Organizing and scheduling project-related activities while implementing suitable governance.
- Overseeing project acceptance and monitoring timelines, ensuring adherence to deadlines and reporting any delays.
- Managing risks by ensuring that the project outcomes align with the initial requests and taking corrective actions when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Candidates should demonstrate:
- A proven track record of managing projects from inception to completion, deploying all necessary resources for success.
- Strong client relationship management capabilities, with the ability to tailor communication to various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in generating reports, identifying, collecting, and organizing data to create reliable reports within set deadlines.
- Risk management expertise within the relevant sector, conducting analyses to evaluate operations or services that may present risks.
- Knowledge of MIFID II, including product and marketing processes, customer support, and corporate environment.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, along with proficiency in office automation and project management tools.
- A commitment to client-focused behaviors and adherence to regulatory frameworks and internal policies.
