We are seeking a skilled Classroom Behaviour Support Specialist to join our team at a Secondary School in Newport. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students in both small groups and on a 1:1 basis to support their behavioural needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with challenging behaviour
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff
- Develop and implement behaviour plans
- Provide positive role models and guidance
- Manage behaviour and track progress
Requirements:
To be successful in this position, you will need to have:
- Experience working with children with challenging behaviour
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Enhanced DBS and EWC registration
