In this role, you will engage in Security Engineering, Architecture, and Automation across our global operations, driving enhancements in response to emerging security trends. The ideal candidate will be tasked with formulating strategies that will shape the future of our security posture, with a keen focus on Gen AI initiatives. As a Global IT Security Architect, your responsibility will be to architect and implement solutions that align with our organizational security requirements while ensuring scalability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Tackle security issues associated with Generative AI, including access controls and encryption for data storage solutions like Vector DB and Graph DB.
  2. Collaborate closely with Enterprise and Security Architecture teams to comprehend their security needs and devise appropriate solutions.
  3. Conduct security design and application architecture evaluations utilizing risk assessment and threat modeling techniques in enterprise settings.
  4. Develop and disseminate secure design patterns and coding best practices across various programming languages and platforms, including APIs and cloud environments.
  5. Implement Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices and DevSecOps methodologies.
  6. Ensure adherence to regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and industry benchmarks (e.g., NIST SSDF, OWASP Top 10).
  7. Utilize vulnerability scanning tools and penetration testing methods to identify and address application vulnerabilities.
  8. Oversee and manage security technologies, including Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.
  9. Partner with solution architects and engineering teams to integrate security recommendations into architectural designs.
  10. Lead project management efforts, including technical planning, design specifications, vendor assessments, and reporting.
  11. Adapt to evolving environments with shifting priorities and timelines.
  12. Perform security assessments of network designs and implementations.
  13. Operate within an Agile framework.
  14. Prepare and review regular status reports and metrics.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred.
  2. Over 10 years of experience in design, implementation, and consulting related to distributed applications and security/compliance.
  3. At least 5 years of experience in software development and AI/ML or related technology domains.
  4. A minimum of 10 years in security/compliance roles.
  5. Extensive experience (7+ years) in network security engineering with large-scale global implementations.
  6. Proven expertise in network and cloud security architecture across platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  7. Experience addressing security challenges in multi-tenant data environments.
  8. Familiarity with Cloud Native technologies, including Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
  9. Strong grasp of networking protocols, including TCP/IP and DNS.
  10. Experience with NextGen and Cloud Native Firewalls, as well as intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  11. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  12. Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects.
  13. Strong organizational, written communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  14. Expertise in cloud security for platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  15. Knowledge of encryption technologies and their applications.
  16. Ability to conduct comprehensive security risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
  17. Experience with IAM, including SSO, access control, and user provisioning.
  18. Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools and their interpretation.
  19. CISSP and other relevant security certifications are preferred.
